Self Reflective Journal Writing

I have a 2-hour commute on the city bus each day to school  and back home again, and  I would spend that time and still do reflecting on my classes and students. What I found was that I would lose a lot of the details so I decided to start self relfective journal writing.

This semester I have been making weekly entries but next semester I will switch to daily entries.  My goal for my 2016 jounal is  to 1)  provode detailed description as if to an outsider of that day's events and 2) provide tentative explanations as to why something that I observed firsthand is the way it is. I know making daily entries is ambious in my extremely busy schedule, but I it will be worth it.
